Simpozionul Internaţional Calitatea Mediului şi Utilizarea Terenurilor
Avem deosebita plăcere de a vă invita să participaţi la a XV-a ediţie a Simpozionului Internaţional „Calitatea mediului şi utilizarea terenurilor” care se va desfăşura la Suceava, în perioada 23-24 mai 2025.
Simpozionul continuă tradiţia manifestărilor ştiinţifice ale Departamentului de Geografie din Suceava, începute în 1996. Ediţia din acest an se va desfăşura în spaţiile de învăţământ şi cercetare moderne ale Universităţii „Ştefan cel Mare” şi se adresează cadrelor didactice universitare, preuniversitare şi cercetătorilor cu rezultate în domeniul Geografiei sau ştiinţelor conexe.

USEFUL INFORMATION
1.) For the activity carried out in Vatra Dornei
The organizers do not charge a participation fee, but we will provide for each paper presented a participation card in which will be placed the participation diploma with the title of the paper presented, with the name / surname of the author or the group of authors.
Hotel accommodation***, in a double room, will be provided free of charge by the University of Suceava “Stefan cel Mare” at the Continuing Education Center of the USV in Vatra Dornei, within the limit of 40 places available managed as follows (20 places by the USV, 6 places by the Univ. of Oradea, 7 places by the Univ. Pedagogica ,,Ion Creangă” of Chisinau, 7 places by the Institute of Ecology and Geography of the Academy of the Republic of Moldova).
To these 40 places will be added 20 places that will be reserved at a *** hotel / guesthouse in Vatra Dornei, for PhD students from different universities in the country / abroad (if not filled we will accommodate PhD students from USV), accommodation being financially supported by a grant from USV.
2.) The participants accepted in the program and who physically participate in Vatra Dornei, under the conditions of exceeding the 40 + 20 places supported by USV, will have to pay their own accommodation expenses in a hotel or hostel in Vatra Dornei or surroundings.
3.) The participants’ meals will be covered by the Conference budget, consisting of sponsorship (EGGER), University of Oradea, Ion Creanga University of Chisinau) and the grant of the USV. The meal will be served at a restaurant or catered at the USV center in Vatra Dornei. Participants to the festive dinner will pay 100 lei. The dinner will be organized at the Continuing Education Center of the USV in Vatra Dornei. Will be exempted from this payment: 5 professors/researchers who will present the 5 plenary papers at the beginning of the conference, one representative each from USV, UO, UIC, IEGRM and the conference coordinating secretary.

In the practical application that will take place on October 2nd starting at 8,00 on the route Vatra Dornei-Moldovița (visiting the monastery) – Ciumârna pass – stop – Sucevița (visiting the monastery) – Marginea (stop at the ceramics center) – Egger [(Dornești) – the Egger company will be visited] – Rădăuți (lunch will be served) — Arbore (visit of the monastery) – Humorului Monastery (visit of the monastery) – Voroneț (visit of the monastery) – Câmpulung – Vatra Dornei all participants (except PhD students) will pay the amount of 150 lei, lunch and transportation (270 km).
